Valamar is already looking after 80,000 trees in your favourite destinations. However, Earth’s lungs need more!

HOW TO MAKE A DONATION?
Taking part in this donation campaign is really easy; you just need to follow three simple steps.
STEP 1: The donation for one tree is HRK 25 (approx. EUR 3.5). Donate for as many trees as you want. You can make a donation while checking out at receptions in all Valamar Riviera d.d. properties.
STEP 2: For every planted tree, we’ll plant another one. Our 2022 goal is to plant a forest of 2000 trees together.
STEP 3: When you make an impact, you holiday better. Enjoy nature in your favourite Valamar destination and make the best memories while leaving a green trace.
WHY TAKE PART?
Our daily habits contribute to CO2 emissions, but each of us has the power to reduce them. Did you know that using your phone for just two minutes per day produces 47 kg of CO2 yearly? Or that for 500 km of travel, your car produces around 125 kg of CO2?
You can compensate for your carbon footprint by donating for reforestation. Tree by tree, a young forest will grow, and with every new forest, the carbon footprint is reduced.
One hectare of adult forest can store, or compensate, as much as 50 tonnes of CO2 per year.
This donation campaign is part of the Valamar Sustainability Strategy 2025. The funds raised during the campaign will be donated to the Scout Association of Croatia for the tree planting initiative CO2MPENSATING BY PLANTING.
The forest will be planted as early as this autumn, and all information will be available in the Valamar Newsletter.
