The Andrija Kačić Miošić Square is located in the very centre of the town, in the vicinity of the harbour of Makarska, and you can recognize it by the statue of Andrija Kačić Miošić at its centre. • The bronze statue of friar Andrija Kačić Miošić was made by the famous Croatian sculptor Ivan Rendić.
• The Square is adorned by a Venetian 18th century drinking fountain, where you can refresh yourself with water from the Biokovo mountain. It is known for the coat of arms, which is used as a symbol of Makarska nowadays.
