- Frankopanski kaštel was built by the noble Frankopan family between the 12th and 15th century, and its purpose was to defend the town from attacks.
- Your trip through the Frankopan family history will begin when you pass through the square tower, which once served as a courtroom, and you can browse the genealogy of this powerful Croatian family on its first floor.
- Next up is the round or Venetian tower, on the ground floor of which there is an exhibition that will teach you exactly how the town of Krk was founded. When you've learned everything you set out to, climb up to the second floor and enjoy the expansive view of the impressive town walls and the beautiful landscape.
