Lim Channel or Lim Bay is a karst valley on the west coast of Istria that is located between Rovinj and Poreč. Owing to its natural beauties and exceptional cuisine, it is today a popular tourist destination for many foodies and lovers of free climbing.  However, in the past, it was a safe haven for the famous miracle maker and clairvoyant Romualdo, and the cave named after him is today a popular destination for many lovers of adventure and nature.

  • Visit Romualdo’s Cave (popularly known as the Pirate’s Cave) in Lim Bay - a karst phenomenon and the habitat of a greater mouse-eared bat colony. 
  • Walk or cycle on the educational trail along Lim Bay and discover the natural beauties of the protected environment.
  • Climb up to the viewpoint and take photos of Lim Bay from the best perspective. 
  • Take a stroll through Kontija forest above Lim Bay and find Oriental Hornbeam trees that are over 140 years old. 
  • If you like free climbing, don’t miss out on testing your skills on the eye-catching cliffs located above the sea at the end of the bay.
