"Makarska Tour" cycling route
The "Makarska Tour" cycling route leads you to a tour around the area surrounding the town Makarska. It begins on the seafront by the Miramare Hotel and follows the coastline to the Makarska tennis centre. The macadam part of the route begins here right next to the beach to the Cvitačka area. If you cross to the right side, the Vepric area is right there, where the path separates right at the entrance before the creek to the right and follows the creek upstream at the eastern side of the hill. A single track with two serpentines leads to the macadam part of the route towards the cemetery on Veliko Brdo and, by crossing the asphalt road Makarska-Veliko Brdo, to the macadam path above the Puharići settlement. Above the Batinići settlement this route merges to the concrete road to Makar. Next to the water spring in Mlinice, a slight uphill macadam road leads to the Kotišina village. The downhill asphalt road towards the junction with the Adriatic Highway by the technical inspection station, the route takes you through Osejava on a forest path toward the seafront of Makarska.
