In April 2024, Obertauern will be hosting the funniest and largest treasure hunt in Austria for the 16th time. Here you can fully live a gold-digger's dream as you scrape through the snow in the Alps, to the sound of music, with a magnificent view – and win a luxurious BMW. A total of over 30 chests will be hidden, and all of them will contain exciting prizes. The BMW car is the first prize, but there are over 30 other treats for ambitious diggers, including non-cash prizes and travel vouchers.

Itinerary

April 12th: 12:00 - 24:00

  • Registration & drawing of starting numbers at the tourist office

April 13th: Treasure hunt

  • 10:00  Meeting point at the Gamsleiten 2 ski lift
  • 10:30  START of the treasure hunt
  • 13:00  END of the treasure hunt
  • 16:00  Opening of the treasure chests at the Gamsleiten parking area
