Follow a truffle hunter and trained dogs into the Motovun forest, then bring the day back to the table with homemade gnocchi and fresh black truffles. The experience starts in Paladini, where the Karlić family introduces you to their dogs, their estate and the tradition behind one of Istria’s most famous ingredients. After the hunt, you return for a truffle-based tasting and the chance to take part in preparing homemade gnocchi, turning the forest discovery into a proper local meal. It’s a hands-on Istrian experience that connects the search, the family story and the flavour of black truffle in one place.

Example of an itinerary for an experience beginning at 10:00:
10:00–10:20 – Tour of the estate, the dogs and an educational story about truffles, with a welcome beverage (truffle brandy)
10:20–11:20 – Truffle hunting with a truffle hunter and sniffer dogs
11:20–12:30/13:00 – Tasting and optional participation in the preparation of homemade gnocchi
