Rona is a traditional wooden leut built in 1942, and simply sailing aboard offers a glimpse into Hvar's maritime heritage.The full-day tour combines Hektorović’s stories of the sea with secluded coves, swimming, SUP and tastings of local wine and paprenjaci, traditional Croatian spiced biscuits. The evening Mamma Mia cruise brings sunset views, ABBA music and the cinematic story of a boat that featured in the sequel to the famous musical. One journey brings Hvar’s Renaissance seafaring stories to life, while the other turns the island into an open-air movie setting.

Itinerary

Full-day tour (7.5 h):

11:00 – Departure from the pier below Arkada Valamar Hotel
11:30 – Swimming stop at Zavala Bay
12:30 – Visit to the bays featured in Petar Hektorović's journey

Swimming at Gračišće Bay
Visit to Lučišće Bay, where scenes from the Petar Hektorović film were filmed
Visit to the Bruške Vale coves with small pebble beaches
Optional lunch at one of the local restaurants in Tiha Bay
Cruise around Cape Kabal and the historic bunkers
Swimming in the northern coves of Hvar with views of Brač Island
18:30 – Return to the ancient harbour of Faros and disembarkation, with the option of being dropped off in front of your hotel in Stari Grad

Cruise aboard the boat that appeared in the 2017 film Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, filmed on the island of Vis
Enjoy the sunset at the entrance to Stari Grad Bay with ABBA music from Mamma Mia and a tasting of local wines
21:00 – Return to the departure point

  • More than 24 hours before the booked appointment 10 % of the total amount is charged.
  • Between 24 to 12 hours before the booked appointment 25 % of the total amount is charged.
  • Within 12 hours before the booked appointment 50 % of the total amount is charged.
  • In case of no show, 95 % of the entire amount will be charged.
