- Location: the starting point of the hiking trail that will take you to the canyon is 2 km from Baška. There is also a parking lot, which is charged for during the season
- The very beginning of the trail is almost flat, and then follows a moderate climb to the first obstacles which will require a bit of climbing skills
- The climb is over after about an hour of walking at a moderate pace on a crossroads with signs pointing to the beautiful beaches of Velika luka and Mala luka and other hiking points
- Climbing further away from the canyon to the top, you will reach the Rebica lookout at 311 meters above sea level, walking along unique dry-stone fences
- We advise that you set out toward the Vela Vrženica canyon in early morning hours and always have maps of the trails on hand. In addition to map views, they contain lots of useful information.
