Visit Ivica Matošević's wine cellar in the picturesque village of Krunčići in central Istria. This winemaker, along with a few fellow connoisseurs, has sparked a wine renaissance in Istria, and you will have the opportunity to hear the captivating story hidden within his bottles. Try the freshly matured malvasia nurtured by the fertile soil, sun and sea. Delight in the wines from the Grimalda terroir, which will please even the most discerning of palates. Learn of the passion that a single winemaker pours into his wines, which endeavour to capture the authenticity of the Istrian soil, grape vines and the man tending to them.

Itinerary

11 am – Learning about the technology and process of winemaking
11:10 am – Tour of the winery and cellars
11:25 am – Tasting of 3 wine varieties with a plate of homemade Istrian products (“boškarin”, or Istrian ox, sausage, Istrian cheese, homemade olive oil, bread, dried fruit)
12:00 pm - End of experience

Working hours:

  • 9 am – 7 pm / Saturday, Sunday, Holidays 10 am - 6 pm (summer business hours)
  • 9 am – 4 pm / Saturday 10 am - 4 pm  (winter business hours)

Cancellation terms

In case of booking cancellation:

  • more than 24 hours before the booked date, no fee is charged.
  • between 24 to 12 hours before the booked date 50% of the total amount is charged.
  • within 12 hours before the booked date 100% of the total amount is charged.
  • in case of no show, 100% of the entire amount will be charged.
