If you happen to find yourself in Dubrovnik, make sure to take a ride on Srđ cable car. Although it was built in 1969, it became completely functional only after it was renovated in 2010. It has a capacity of 30 passengers and reaches an altitude of 778 metres in only four minutes - though the view from the top is so breathtaking that it would pay off to wait for more than an hour. Enjoy views of Dubrovnik and its archipelago from the souvenir shop, restaurant or amphitheatre with 120 seats.
